Movie Madness

To celebrate the 30th anniversary of one of America’s last remaining video stores, I worked with editor Alison Hallett, art director Nate Ashley, and Movie Madness’ Matt Parnell and Zoey Reynolds to create Movie Madness: 30 Years Behind the Counter at Portland’s Iconic Video Store. Packed with rare photos, original art, and severed ears, the book features everything from an introduction by filmmaker Todd Haynes to a redacted look at how some of the store’s less-than-legit titles were acquired.
